I live in Bayreuth, Germany, where I’m a PhD candidate studying at the Chair of Geomorphology at the University of Bayreuth with my supervisor, Dr. Christoph Schmidt. I analyse the luminescence behaviour of different minerals (quartz and feldspars). My goal it to simulate luminescence behaviour with different methods (solving ODEs, Monte-Carlo methods, …) to understand the charge transfer in these minerals. My undergraduate degree is in physics, geography and mathematics.
I’m a programmer, R user, Raspberry Pi and Arduino fan, landscape photographer, running-lover, star wars fan and much more …
In the next chapters you find some random stuff about me …
